According to reports, Gareth Southgate is taking home a staggering £4.99 million a year as England manager, making him the second-highest-paid head coach in the world.
Southgate's previous contract was worth around £3 million per year, but he is believed to have earned a significant increase on that when he signed a new deal in November 2021.
The Evening Standard reports that Southgate's salary is now in the region of £4.99 million per year, which would make him the second-highest-paid international manager in the world, behind only Didier Deschamps of France.
Southgate has been in charge of England since 2016 and has led the team to the semi-finals of the World Cup and the final of the European Championship.
